A look into the heart

The engine – the heart of the ELMOTO. The latest technology allows a powerful acceleration and a top speed of 45 km/h. The torque of the electric engine is in comparison to a gasoline engine immediately ready and accelerates the ELMOTO extra strongly. The reason is the brushless hub drive in the rear wheel. The engine is abrasion and maintenance free.

No chain, no grease, no spare parts – good for the environment and wallet. The performance is quite impressive: 1.7 kW and 50 Nm torque. The electric engine has an efficiency of 83%; much better than any combustion engine. For safety reasons the engine switches off automatically if the brake is used.
