As well as the engine, the energy storage is a central component for driving fast. Therefore the latest battery technology is used for the ELMOTO HR2. The lithium-ion technology offers the best performance and less weight compared to conventional battery technology. The battery stores 31,5 Ah which means an average range of 65 km. However the range also depends on the road surface, tire air pressure, temperature and weight of the driver.

Due to these factors the range can vary about 10-15%.
If the battery is completely empty it takes about 5 hours to recharge. The battery should be charged from a temperature of 0 ° degrees, the discharging is possible to minus 10° degrees.

The warranty for the battery is 30 month.
