ELMOTO – E-Bike – Kleinkraftrad mit Elektroantrieb – urban lifestyle mobility

Together with our partner-company Gibbon (ID-Sports) ELMOTO has donated a bike for the Slackline WorldCup Winner.
Not everyone knows it, but slacklining has become more than a trend over the last years. At first slacklining was a complementary training for climbers, but it turned into a mass movement with one million slackliners and a serious competitive sport.

Brixen, 5. November 2010:
In a high class final Andy Lewis (USA) won the second place of the overall-WorldCup.
Last Monday ID-Bike was able to hand over the ELMOTO in Stuttgart.
ID-Bike wishes Andy good luck for the next contests and a lot of fun riding the ELMOTO.

Together with the partner for the Italian market and NUTCASE Helmets, the EICMA fair was a great success.

Thanks to our great booth located directly next to the test track and the Superbike rider Andrea Conti, the interest in ELMOTO was extremely high. Andrea Conti raced with the bike on the test track to demonstrate how the bike should be used “correctly”.
Countless drifts, wheelies and stoppies showed the audience the easy handling of ELMOTO and its capacity (show video).

In addition to this show, ID-Bike presented a show bike which received a lot of positive feedback. The team also presented the new model „Tiefeinsteiger TE2“. This bike has more space to store luggage and furthermore the height of the saddle can be adjusted to suit the driver. After the revised version the model TE2 will be available from March 2011 and will complete the ELMOTO range.
In any case our Italian partner was busy informing the audience and sending them to the test track – a perfect start for the scooter market in Europe.

For the first time NUTCASE Europe was able to present their new motorcycle helmet collection on our shared booth. Helmets with ELMOTO design and bikes with helmet-design are planned for next year.

Many thanks to everyone who participated at the EICMA fair. ELMOTO looks forward to the season 2011.

The Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology awarded the latest developments in modern mobility and advertised the Bavarian Award for electric vehicles in course of the eCarTec fair.

ELMOTO won in the category motorbike against its competitors and Stefan Lippert, CEO of the ID-Bike GmbH, accepted the the eCarTec Award by the Minister Zeil.

ELMOTO is pleased to communicate the spirit of innovation and marketability with this Award.

We look expectantly to the next season.

Last saturday ELMOTO won the first and second place in racing.

At the first „Electric Scooter World Championship“, in course of the international bike trade show INTERMOT in Cologne, the ELMOTO HR-2 came in first and second in its race class. ELMOTO riders Pascal Papstein (Sponsor Nutcase Helmets) and Björn Bergfelder (ELMOTO Factory-Team) prevailed clearly over the competition.
We hope that this first race got the ball rolling and a history of “electric” racing will start its “victory-run” around the world.

The detailed rankings at the ESWC – Production Class 2:
1. Place Pascal Papstein (ELMOTO HR-2 V1.2)
2. Place Björn Bergfelder (ELMOTO HR-2 V1.3)
3. Place Innoscooter, name unknown

From 6th until 10th October the bike branch gets together once more in Cologne for the Intermot. This year there is a special exhibition hall for electric-bikes. Here you will also find ELMOTO in the Innovation Area. Our booth is located at booth B 026 in hall 5.2 and you are more than welcome to visit us. A big test track offers the possibility for a test drive. Here you will find the announcement in the special edition of the “Intermot Spezial” in the magazine “Motorrad”.
