From now on for about 4 weeks Esslinger driving students have the possibility to ride the ELMOTO in the driving school „A-Team“. We appreciate the cooperation and look forward to the results and feedback of the test.

After the first test ride with the ELMOTO owner Markus Tröscher is already enthusiastic and very excited to try the e-bike in the hard driving school everyday life. He gladly promotes the use and acceptance of environmentally friendly vehicle.
Thanks to the unrivalled low weight of the bike and the easy handling, beginners directly feel comfortable on the ELMOTO and thus the e-bike is a perfect start for the driving students. Also in terms of costs an electric vehicle can convince. For unbeatable 40 Cent you can drive with one battery charge up to 65km through the city. And another advantage of the ELMOTO is that it is almost completely maintenance free, unlike the conventional 50cc scooter. Thanks to the rapid acceleration and the extraordinary design the driving pleasure with the ELMOTO is ensured – of course silent and emission free. We wish all driving students a lot of fun and a pleasant ride with the ELMOTO.

ELMOTO was asked by “finanztreff.de” according to an expert opinion

28.02.11 – Under „green finacials“ the issue was discussed, who is responsible for the introduction of electric vehicles in Germany and which steps are necessary and urgent for the introduction.

The ID-Bike is pleased to make a contribution on this subject and thanks for the suggestion of this discussion, what is especially important for small manufacturers – such as the ID-Bike GmbH .

In the latest DEKRA-Magazine „Solutions“ the collaboration during the European approval for the ELMOTO has been described.

First of all, we need to correct a thing: the possible range is not – as mentioned in the article 5km – but of course, up to 65km.

The ID-Bike team is thankful for this close and successful collaboration. As a start-up company, it is essential to have such a competent partner. The approval, such as the recognition as vehicle-manufacturer, was more complex than expected.
The DEKRA, and particularly Mr. Pfennig, have provided us a lot of important information and whose support has been of great value. We are looking forward to the collaboration in the next projects.

ELMOTO has been discovered by MOTOCICLISMO at the EICMA in Mailand

The ELMOTO booth at the EICMA was a little hidden, but the friendly Italian journalists of the MOTOCICLISMO nevertheless discovered the HR-2. Probably the sensation of the spectacular rides of Andrea Conti caused the attention of the magazine.

In any case the public was able to get a good picture of the „new mobility“at the EICMA, because the ELMOTO was in a row with Brammo bikes and a lot of different e-bike and scooter producers.

Italy by far has the biggest bike market in Europe, despite that or actually because of it, the introduction of a new product is tough. ELMOTO is very glad that thanks to the EICMA and the article in the MOTOCICLISMO we found the market entry.

The ELMOTO – the ideal vehicle for caravans

The ID-Bike is pleased about the first test of a caravan magazine. It was not the actual design idea, but in fact it makes sense that caravanists use the ELMOTO:
Thanks to a total weight of 47kg its easy to lift the ELMOTO to a bike carrier or the rear garage. Due to the soundless driving its the ideal vehicle for camping sites.
This positive test gave the the ID-Bike the encouragement to present the ELMOTO next year at the leading caravan shows.

Together with our partner-company Gibbon (ID-Sports) ELMOTO has donated a bike for the Slackline WorldCup Winner.
Not everyone knows it, but slacklining has become more than a trend over the last years. At first slacklining was a complementary training for climbers, but it turned into a mass movement with one million slackliners and a serious competitive sport.

Brixen, 5. November 2010:
In a high class final Andy Lewis (USA) won the second place of the overall-WorldCup.
Last Monday ID-Bike was able to hand over the ELMOTO in Stuttgart.
ID-Bike wishes Andy good luck for the next contests and a lot of fun riding the ELMOTO.

Together with the partner for the Italian market and NUTCASE Helmets, the EICMA fair was a great success.

Thanks to our great booth located directly next to the test track and the Superbike rider Andrea Conti, the interest in ELMOTO was extremely high. Andrea Conti raced with the bike on the test track to demonstrate how the bike should be used “correctly”.
Countless drifts, wheelies and stoppies showed the audience the easy handling of ELMOTO and its capacity (show video).

In addition to this show, ID-Bike presented a show bike which received a lot of positive feedback. The team also presented the new model „Tiefeinsteiger TE2“. This bike has more space to store luggage and furthermore the height of the saddle can be adjusted to suit the driver. After the revised version the model TE2 will be available from March 2011 and will complete the ELMOTO range.
In any case our Italian partner was busy informing the audience and sending them to the test track – a perfect start for the scooter market in Europe.

For the first time NUTCASE Europe was able to present their new motorcycle helmet collection on our shared booth. Helmets with ELMOTO design and bikes with helmet-design are planned for next year.

The Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology awarded the latest developments in modern mobility and advertised the Bavarian Award for electric vehicles in course of the eCarTec fair.

ELMOTO won in the category motorbike against its competitors and Stefan Lippert, CEO of the ID-Bike GmbH, accepted the the eCarTec Award by the Minister Zeil.

ELMOTO is pleased to communicate the spirit of innovation and marketability with this Award.
