The ID-Bike GmbH is a „spin-off“ of the design and development company ipdd in Stuttgart. ID-Bike is a team of experienced electrical engineers, industrial designers and economists who all pursuit one goal – combining fun, lifestyle and an electrical engine into a new form of mobility. The development centre in the heart of Stuttgart, as well as two production sites in Schwaben, represents high class work and innovation within the region. Most of the main assembly parts are developed and produced in Germany, thereby providing jobs in the country. With this strategy ID-Bike wants to guarantee a high product quality.

The makers of ELMOTO, who began work in 2009, have committed themselves to the mission of changing the mobility in urban areas with their E-Bikes. Important features are not only the bike’s ‘fun’ aspect, aswell as its design and suitability for everyday use, but also the eco-friendly and emission-free use. The result is a new vehicle category in between bicycle and moped.
